It's Vacation Time!!!!! @barbbradley

Hi All!

I know I've been a little slack on my handout posts and I do apologize. I want you to know I have the second half of the 10 things to know about the editor almost done but I need to add the last one to finish it and haven't gotten it done yet. I also have another post I want to upload but again I haven't gotten it done.

There seems to be a pattern, huh?

Anyway I want to warn everyone that I am going on vacation so I won't have a guest this week and I realized that I've never offered any of my readers/followers to be a guest on my blog. So guess what? Are you a published author? Would you like to be a guest? All you need to do is e-mail me at ttromwriter at yahoo dot com and I'll send you the questions.

New release or a book from your back list doesn't matter to me. Genre or heat level doesn't matter either all I ask is that your excerpt is PG-13 because I don't have this blog locked behind a firewall.

The rest of the years is wide open so  hope to hear from a ot of you.

On Vacation!!!! And Other Updates....

Hi all!

For those of you who follow my writing down the bones probably noticed I didn't post this past tuesday. Those of you who follow my interviews might have realized I didn't post an author interview either. I have decided to take a much needed vacation. I'll pick everything up on July 18th with an interview with Shauna Aura Knight so be on the look out for that.

I wanted to give a quick update - I don't get a chance to do this very often.

I'm Back and Recharged!

OMG, I love my brother-in-law! I rarely talk about my personal life here but I've been the caregiver for my mother-in-law for several years. Then this last year my mother decided to get into the act by falling a bit more than she should. The last fall cost her 16 stitches and a stay in the hospital. Between the two of them I have been a very busy girl.

My B-I-L saw what I was going through and decided I needed a vacation so he sent me on vacation! To Aruba! He paid my way to join my sister and her friends for about a week. It gave me a chance to relax and not worry about anything.

We spent our days at the beach and talking about so many things. Mostly the goofy things everyone had said or done over the years. I started to get an idea. We went out to eat and more stories were told. I heard crazy comments, and found unique ways at looking at things and that idea started to bloom.

By the time we were on our way back home and I eavesdropped on a few conversations I had a full blown story. This one will be way off what I normally write. No romance, no futuristic or SF, and no erotic. This one will be a humor book. A family going on vacation and all these crazy things will happen to them. Kind of like the Vacation movies, but my spin will be these are real things that happened to real people.  My characters will be based off of a blend of people I know too. I've already started it.

I wonder if my brother-in-law can take it off on his taxes since I'm using what I saw and heard as research for this book.
